Our Love Story
David and Ashley first crossed paths briefly while she was on winter holiday in January 2016. David was serving in the United States Army and was stationed in Colorado Springs, Ashley lived in Colorado Springs with her family and schooled in Ohio.

Although they never got to formally meet during the winter holiday, David was always interested in getting to know Ashley and he sought out to find out more about her while she went back to School. Unknowingly to him, his presence also caught her eyes.

It wasn't until the summer holiday that their paths converged once again. Ashley, confided in her sister about her interest and because her sister shared mutual friends with David, she conspired to bring them closer.

Through the whispered exchanges of friends, David was told about Ashley, and he immediately knew she was the one he has been searching for all along and fate is about to bring them together.

With determination in his heart, David seized the opportunity and reached out to Ashley. Bonded by their shared passion for soccer, David extended an invitation for Ashley to join his co-ed soccer team for a game and she agreed.  As fate will have it, the opponents did not show up to the game, so David took the opportunity to talk and get to know more about Ashley and they haven’t stopped talking since.

As time passed by, their connection deepened, intertwining their lives in a dance of love and laughter. And on February 16th, 2021, David chose to etch their love into eternity.

Under the guise of a work event on Valentine's Day weekend, David orchestrated a moment that would forever be in their memories. As they arrived at a seemingly random house, Ashley's heart fluttered with anticipation. Stepping inside, she was greeted not only by the presence of her beloved but also by the loving embrace of her mother and sister, flown in to witness this beautiful moment.

As they embark on this new chapter together, Ashley and David stand hand in hand, ready to traverse the journey of life as one. Guided by love's eternal compass, they find solace in knowing that their story is but a prelude to the boundless adventures that await them.
